Baagh — the Kumaoni word for the big cat that still roams these deodar and pine forests — is our tribute to the wild heart of Ranikhet. Tucked away from the bustle of the Mall Road, Baaghvilla is a small, family-run retreat where every room opens to mountain air and birdsong.

Meet the Founder
Born and raised in Ranikhet and an alumnus of Army Public School, Harshit’s connection to the hills runs deep. A seasoned hospitality professional and the founder of the popular Horizon Homestay in Ranikhet, he brings rich expertise in curated stays and boutique resorts.
As a passionate hiker, traveler and skilled tattoo artist, Harshit created Baaghvilla to personally host guests, sharing his love for outdoor adventure, art and authentic mountain living through unforgettable local experiences.

Getting Here
Kathgodam (KGM) is the nearest railhead, about 80 km / 3 hours by road. Overnight trains run daily from Delhi.
Pantnagar Airport (PGH) is around 115 km away. Delhi airport is roughly 360 km / 8–9 hours by road.
Delhi → Moradabad → Haldwani → Kathgodam → Bhowali → Ranikhet. Well-paved mountain roads all the way.
